There are three things I love to do; socialise, attend/organise events and travel. I am a music and film appreciator, I love to find hidden gems to eat, drink and explore. I’ve been lucky enough to see some beautiful places in the world including stints travelling around Europe, South East Asia and a couple of months working in Prague. I have lots of transferable skills, not to mention my willingness to learn and excel. I have planned client’s events using their brief, producing and managing them from start to finish. I am used to the pressures of being set targets/deadlines and meeting them. I have lots of administrative experience, working with budgets, using CRM systems, creating/analysing reports and financials. I have been told I have an excellent “tone of voice” when it comes to using social media and understand the importance of brand continuity. I am sales and performance driven, going above and beyond for my team and clients. I am naturally good at building relationships with people, I am organised and reliable.
Ortus is a dedicated learning and event centre which is home to the Maudsley learning charity who work collaboratively with clinical and academic partners. My main duties include; providing a client facing service in regard to the co-ordination of event bookings, maintaining the in-house software for client bookings ensuring all information is accurate and up to date, providing accurate reports and financial data for the facilitation of invoicing and auditing venue performance.
Limone Events are an event agency based in The Dutch Hall, an event venue located in The City of London. I was often brought in to manage events which had been confirmed by the in house team. This meant taking over email correspondence, managing site visits, suggesting and managing suppliers, coordinating schedules for all parties and managing the setup, derig and live event days.
Blank Canvas is a venue management company based in London which specialise in identifying unique buildings, turning them into illustrious event and filming locations for hire. The team primarily needed assistance with sales, but also support in the general operation of day to day business including Event, Venue and Office Management. My duties included but were not limited to; taking enquiries, conducting site visits, converting business and reaching sales targets set by the Managing Directors and venue owners. Supporting clients with their event logistics from a venue and licensing perspective, planning client’s events based on their brief and producing it from start to finish. I managed the accredited supplier relationships, key accounts and attended networking events on behalf of the company. I worked with a CRM system called Sales Force which I used to log everything, generate reports to review progress and produce financials. I also managed the businesses social media accounts and wrote fortnightly newsletters.
