About me

I am an extremely creative individual with a natural aptitude for organisation and a strong desire to position these skills at the core of my profession. I thrive on thinking up unique and innovative ideas and work extremely hard to set the logistics of my ideas in motion. Since graduating with a BA in Marketing and Spanish, I have spent the last two years working in the fast-paced industries of fashion and marketing. During this time, I have undertaken responsibilities that have enhanced my creative thought process and ability to put my ideas into action, varying from brainstorming campaign ideas to creative direction on photo-shoots. I have also honed my talent for organisation and planning through the coordination of events, photo-shoots and meetings. In addition to this, experience of writing press releases, onsite copy and marketing material content as well as liaison with clients has equipped me with the abilities of a confident verbal and written communicator. I am an extremely visual person and have always demonstrated my creative flair through my interests, particularly photography. I am obsessive about detail and possess a strong eye for presentation and composition. I have a passion for languages and travel and am confident in the writing and speaking of the Spanish language, having spent a lot of time living and travelling in Spanish speaking countries. In my spare time, I enjoy collaborating my creative and organisational skills in side projects. Throughout last year, I ran a small jewellery business that involved the selling of my handmade jewellery at craft fairs. Creative aspects of this project included jewellery production, brand creation, product photography and visual merchandising while key responsibilities such as budgeting, stock control and liaison with suppliers and craft fair coordinators required me to be thorough in organisation and accuracy. At university, I volunteered as Layout Editor for the student newspaper. Using Adobe Creative Suite, this role required me to single-handedly design the format of the university’s award-winning newspaper while adhering to strict publishing deadlines. This role is exemplary of my meticulous attention to detail as well as my ability to work to an impeccably high standard within a high-pressure role. As well as the skills and experience mentioned above, I approach new roles with a positive attitude, resilient work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and progress.
