After being promoted to Senior Designer at JCDecaux, my responsibilities now include mentoring a Junior Print Designer while developing leadership and managerial skills.
Working as an in-house designer, mainly creating printed B2B collateral for the marketing department, along with the occasional piece of digital design for web. The role required having an informed prepress knowledge and involved liaising with the printing company to facilitate printing the design work.
I continued my career as a Freelance Graphic Designer in Brighton, working at a number of design agencies, plus taking commissions for small businesses. The work involved illustration, print design and web development.
Branding development, artworking and promotional design for a range of professional clients working on a variety of multi-media platforms including digital design for web and email development, as well as printed material—mainly in the form of direct mail.
I started receiving commissioned graphics work during my third year at University which developed my professional practice and portfolio. It included design for print, web design and development, branding and packaging work.
