My aim is to deliver thought-provoking, beautifully crafted design solutions and meaningful experiences across print and digital platforms. With over 7 years industry experience, I adopt a flexible approach to understand client needs and help them deliver integrated digital, print and brand experiences across all channels. I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for clean, minimal design that communicates messages clearly and concisely. My ability to hit the ground running allows me to become an integrated member in any creative team, adding value to design ideas, supporting them on all aspects of a design project, as well as retaining established and building new client relationships. Working as a freelance designer within a fast-paced B2B content marketing agency, where I've been responsible for generating creative content for clients including Xerox, Corcentric, Leaseplan and Sitecore. Key projects: • Xerox - Helping to design a series of online guides and eBooks, establishing fundamental principals and template styles along the way. As part of the project, bespoke illustrations, infographics and diagrams needed to be created using a consistent and considered approach. • Corcentric - Assisting with the website redesign, creating bespoke visual assets and designing the company's corporate brochures, all with the aim of improving user engagement and increasing conversions with the company's key products. • Leaseplan - Developing the company's illustration and iconography styles across three job targeted eBooks.
In addition to my role as Graphic Designer, I also had the responsibility of Studio Manager. Here, I was the key communication channel between our clients and the design team, where I was responsible for the effective management of resource and workflow within the studio, aiming to ensure consistent and excellent delivery on projects across all platforms. Within this role I was also responsible for liaising directly with clients and suppliers to establish achievable schedules and deadlines as well as calculating costings on a project by project basis. Responsibilities include: • Conceptualising new marketing material • Understanding and interpreting project requirements • Presenting options for design treatments • Establishing clear lines of communication for projects • Managing studio workflow and financial systems • Estimating time and providing cost quotations • Prioritising work to ensure schedules and deadlines are met • Tracking progress of each individual project • Amending designs according to client requests • Artworking to produce accurate and print ready material • Working with various partners including printers, photographers, web developers and copywriters
As a junior designer I was responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact within company guidelines. Predominantly working with one of the World's top 75 Universities, I was accountable for amending and typesetting all marketing materials to help deliver the University's recruitment strategy, including both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Prospectuses. This required understanding the project brief, developing creative ideas and identifying the appropriate solution to meet the client’s objectives.
