About me


I am an NCTJ qualified journalist who has worked as a copywriter and currently works in Broadcast Ad Operations for Bloomberg Television. I have spent the last two years managing broadcast content for Bloomberg EMEA - scheduling and maintaining programming and advertising campaigns on a daily basis. However, I want to do more than just schedule, manage and report on content - I want to create it. After completing my NCTJ qualification I worked as a sports copywriter for London Bridge Media. My job was to create exciting and engaging content around the World Cup for our client Betway. During my time here I learnt how to create content and schedule it on the content management system. I also learnt how to edit photos on Photoshop, research keywords to improve SEO and update our client’s social media channels. The World Cup was a success for our client and the agency extended my contract until the end of the summer. I have experience with HTML thanks to my blogs on Wordpress and I recently completed a digital skills course with Freeformers. I am active on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and consider myself to have excellent knowledge of social media platforms even if I don’t have as many followers as I would like... As a writer I relish understanding how people connect to content, so the opportunity to produce content across a range of platforms really appeals to the creative and versatile side of me. I am also eager to hone my creative skills and become a more strategic user of digital and social media.

  • I am responsible for all scheduled content across Bloomberg Television EMEA - including programming, commercials and promotional videos. I work alongside advertising sales and editorial to ensure paid campaigns run in accordance with advertisers' expectations and all EMEA content complies with OFCOM regulations. I manage Bloomberg Television EMEA inventory to ensure our multi-million dollar campaigns can be delivered and I prepare TV traffic logs and programme schedules to serve them, I create bespoke programme formats to accommodate show/segment sponsorships and I also oversee the delivery of copy - downloading and editing content to bring it in line with Bloomberg broadcast requirements.
