I’m an award winning director with 20+ years directing -I have experience for all disciplines of filmmaking - I can write, produce, record quality sound, self shoot, direct and edit. I also love to collaborate and have contacts at the top of their game in cinematography and editing. I’ve directed content from devising the concept to production and directing content right through to final post for the BBC, C4, Netflix, Sky, Google, Guinness, Instagram, UNICEF and Nike foundation.

  My City - George the poetI discovered George the Poet at his first live gig at the jazz cafe in 2011. I asked him to write a poem about the London he knows for the 2012 Olympic Games. It was shot in two days edited in a three days and screened on Channel 4's Random Acts series.

  Channel 4's Random ActsIn 2016 Channel 4 relaunched its short film platform Random Acts, both online and with its own TV show presented by Eric Wareheim. I worked in a very small team headed by Pegah Farahmand to create a new identity and website, curate the digital platform, establish brand partnerships and create a social presence. We also set up a ‘First Acts’ category which enables young aspiring directors to access funding & mentorship to create their first short.

Since I set up deuce films I directed a feature doc film with Oscar winning Passion pictures that aired on BBC TWO, an award winning branded content series for Nokia and discovery - gold promax winner, campaigns for UNICEF, Nike Foundation, Guinness, Dulux, Musto, Google, and Instagram’s first ever short form doc campaign. Most recently I’ve completed writing, producing and directing two feature doc films - award winning Breaking Habits premiering at Cannes Film festival, Warsaw, Santa Barbara, Cleveland and London film festivals. It was shown on Netflix in the UK and Prime in US. My other feature doc was Billion Dollar Game about the creators of GTA but sadly it was so controversial that Rockstar acquired the film and will now never be released. But if you would like to watch it - get in contact;). This year I’ve directed two narrative films that are currently in post.
