About me
I’m a designer with experience developing brands, producing digital assets, materials for print, social content, 3D visuals and motion graphics. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all used extensively throughout my design practice. Supplementing this, I also have capabilities in After Effects and XD, as well as 3D programs AutoCAD and Showcase, plus illustration software Procreate. Notable clients for whom I’ve produced work include IBM, NHS Employers and The Royal College of Nursing.
Projects
  • Beresford Property Group
Beresford Property GroupIn June 2022, I was asked to develop a brand for Bridlington-based property investment firm, Beresford Property Group. The aesthetic of the company was to be high-end and contemporary and as such, I developed a range of brand assets and guidelines that are clean and modern, with a high-quality feel, brought about somewhat by the gold and navy blue colour palette. The brand guidelines provide guidance on logo usage, supporting graphic elements and typography, amongst other things, with examples
  • Dope Energy
Dope EnergyThe requirements of the logo for startup energy drinks company, Dope Energy, stipulated that the design needed to convey a sense of invigoration, concentration and refreshment, as well as being unique. To address these criteria, I created a striking hawk/droplet icon, which represents concentration and focus via a bird of prey, as well as both refreshment and the product itself via the liquid droplet. Custom lettering was also created for the word 'Dope', which has italic properties to signify m
  • Sherbet
SherbetRebrand concept for electric London taxi company, Sherbet, who wanted to update the overall look and feel of their brand. The new logo features a lightning bolt icon, which is formed from two arrows, signifying direction, and also forms a letter 'S', for 'Sherbet', with the chosen colours of gold and blue representing quality and dependability. Such design elements, as well as typography and patterns formed from the interlocking arrow/bolt icon, have been selected to maintain consistency across

New Craven HallSince 2016 I've been working with Leeds based wedding and events venue, New Craven Hall, producing a wide variety of visual identity and various other items, including logos, website, stationary and brochures. Featured below are the company logo, 2022 wedding brochure, social post templates, original website and exterior signage.
  • The Secret Dining Club
The Secret Dining ClubA series of social posts for an event by The Secret Dining Club, taking place at New Craven Hall. The theme of the event, 'illusion', is represented by a range of impossible shapes based on the logo of the event venue, the first initial of 'Secret' and the initials of 'Dining Club'. The collection of designs consists of one advertisement for the event, three clues and one clue reveal, as prospective guests could guess the theme in order to win free entry on the night.
  • Spirits of Scandinavia
Spirits of ScandinaviaOver a number of years, I've worked with alcoholic spirits retailer, Spirits of Scandinavia, on a wide range of projects, from their original logo, right through to their 2021 produce brochure, both of which are displayed on this page. The brochure features a custom illustrated cover, depicting a mountainous scene with a glass of whisky in the foreground, with the inside pages making use of elements of this illustration, whilst maintaining a clean and cool appearance, which is in keeping with t

My design for the kitchenware product 'Acorn' was selected by London's Design Museum, as one of the top fourty designs across the UK that represented a sense of Britishness within design. The product was a unique take on the pestle and mortar, with the addition of a concealed rocking blade, for the chopping of herbs. The connection between this particular product and Britain was the influence of the steel industry of the city of Sheffield, and in particular, how grindstones had been used for the milling of corn and then eventually the sharpening of blades.
