Hospitality Manager
As Hospitality Manager at Yurtel, a premium Boutique Camping Company I am required to:
PRE SEASON
• To oversee customer bookings and send out confirmations – includes creation of bookings system and procedure.
• Mail shots / newsletters: Composition and distribution of newsletters - to include Mail Chimp database management
• Human Resources: Interviewing and hiring of Yurtel Hospitality staff. Creating Rotas and liaising with team members in preparation for the season
• Source peripherals and disposables
IN SEASON:
• Once the season gets underway my main role is as the Production Managers second. I am responsible for managing the guest experience and overseeing the smooth running of front of house services.
This will include pre-event targeted news letters, preparation of room plans, management of the Front of House and guest arrival./departure procedure, development and management of housekeeping systems.
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at The Idler Academy, a bookshop and event space in West London, I am required to:
• Source tutors and material to develop courses that fit The Idler ethos.
• Programme & manage all external events – Supper Clubs / festivals / pop-up shows etc.
• Create and maintain systems for the day-to-day running of The idler Academy including development of bookings systems and management of finances.
• Compose product descriptions and upload these to the Idler website (Wordpress) and other online mediums – social networks, course portals, Time Out.
