Working in my second language for an international language and training consultancy company, I was involved in various different tasks, including working in marketing, advertising, planning and language training. As well as gaining a strong knowledge of business and professional French, my ability to use the internet and social media to carry-out efficient research vastly improved. I was immediately trusted to work in close contact with clients from my second day, often hosting one-to-one meetings. Having never taken on a British intern before, after my departure the company contacted top universities in the UK, including my own, hoping to find another intern after having been impressed with my performance.
