  • • Course covers Literature and Language as well as other media focussed modules. • My analytical skills and attention to detail have been greatly heightened throughout this course. • As part of a multimedia focussed English degree I have also studied journalism and news (news values, features writing and editorial work), Editing, PR, Marketing, Film, Television and Video games (narrative structure, adaptation, cinematographic techniques). • I intend to study journalistic and publishing modules in my final year. • Study of non-verbal behaviour has given me competent knowledge of using effective body language in business and also of the use of non-verbal symbolism in advertising and marketing. • The literature aspect of my degree has afforded me a greater understanding of the effect of cultural ideologies and contexts such as feminism and postmodernism on the creation of all literary works. • Language studies has provided me with a greater understanding of the structural uses of language in writing persuasively.
