About me
I write. Sometimes about myself, sometimes about my past. Other times about my country, about the women whose deaths I see and hear about daily, about how angry that makes me, us. Mostly I write about film: movies, short or long, I don't think I am a "critic", that term has become so elitist and associated with giving one's approval, and that is not what I do. I write to analyze, to dissect film, not only the story but how that story is told through the resources film offers: image and sound. I write in Spanish. I write in English. I translate what I write, and what others write, because knowledge should be spread, and if our body is seventy-five percent made of water, our lives are ninety percent made of communication.
