In this role I sold shoes while providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. I worked to individual and daily targets by multi selling and multi-tasking. In this position I also had the opportunity to complete supervisory shifts. This position included supporting and directing staff sales, guaranteeing customer needs have been met and ensuring the security of the customers, staff and stock. I also have been fully trained in operating the till in both sales and supervisory roles.
Temporary part- time receptionist and information assistant, covering for the month of August. Duties include answering calls and providing the right information or connection to members of the public and staff. Front of house and welcoming students, staff and public. Sorting through and labeling post both incoming and outgoing for the university.
Retail advisor across all areas of the store. I regularly worked evenings and weekends. I was trained in customer service including exchanges and complaints, cash handling, stockroom structure and organization, handling deliveries, replenishment of stock, inventory audit and stock loss. This is a fast paced environment where my adaptability and customer focus are utilized to the max.
In 2010 and 2011, I volunteered for this two week festival which exhibits the work of both national and international artists. As I got to know the management I was given more responsibilities. This included invigilating and providing information about the artists and the work and ensuring the safety of the work and audience. In 2012, I volunteered again as an invigilator and was also responsible for sales in the art shop and assisting management in the packaging of lithographic prints. Some of the artists included were: Spike Jonze, Bill Viola, Brian Bourke, Hughie O Donoghue, Marina Abramovic and Charles Atlas and David Mach.
In this position I assisted in the administration and organization of a one night only event during the Tulca Arts Festival that showed video and interactive sculptural works. This included supporting the management by contacting artists and ensuring the right equipment and facilities were provided. It also included the organization of the running order of events for the night and the publicity of the event.
Teaching English to children (8yrs – 13yrs) in summer school through lesson planning, games and art. I was able to use my organisational skills for all lesson planning and given a blank canvas to be able to develop each class. This role needed both good structure and patience to deliver the maximum learning to all children. The class sizes of each lesson ranged between 4 students and 25 students.

I liaised between customers of both domestic and business, arranging all of enquiries from detailed administrativel tasks, engineers to visiting site, sales and general inquires, faults and escalation.
worked within a direct team of 9 people dealing with stock, merchandising, replenishment and visual displays. This was a fast paced and detailed role where I needed to work with immediate staff of all concessions and staff of Debenhams alike. I also had to have extensive product knowledge across the store to be able to handle and customer inquiries
