Ronnie Cooke Newhouse is renowned for her pioneering creative vision, and for her powerful ability to communicate commercial messaging with an artistic point of view.
One of the founding editors of Details magazine, Newhouse was instrumental in evolving the New York creative landscape in the 1980s, before becoming the creative director of Barneys, and later of Calvin Klein. After moving to London in the 90s, in 1998 she founded House & Holme, the advertising studio that has been behind seminal campaigns for luxury brands from Louis Vuitton to Comme des Garçons.
With a wealth of industry experience, Newhouse is known for her unique ability to adapt to and evolve her clients’ identities across every medium, from print campaigns to digital platforms, moving image to logo and packaging design. Working alongside some of the world’s most esteemed photographers – from Steven Meisel and Jamie Hawkesworth to Tim Walker and Bruce Weber – alongside developing emerging talent from the spheres of art and design, over the course of her career she has been responsible for conceiving and realizing some of the most ground-breaking and original advertising in the industry.
