With over two years experience in strategic and account managerial roles in a global advertising agency and a tech startup I have the the skillset and an understanding of the digital media landscape to thrive in a challenging environment. I am currently on a fixed-term contract in the Planning Department at TBWA\London. My key responsibility is working as a Creative Strategist for Airbnb, putting together their 2017 social strategy for EMEA and assisting with the running of a number of campaigns. I have also used social listening tools to draw insights from data that have contributed to campaigns and supported arguments in agency pitches. My other responsibilities have included leading a social campaign for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, running the company social accounts and being an editor of Backslash, TBWA's editorial arm. The latter role has involved writing articles and producing short films on key global trends that are shared with the network. Lastly, I organised a Facebook Live challenge on Facebook Workplace for the global network, which saw participants from Paris, Brussels, New York and Buenos Aires, take part. Previously I worked as a Brand Partnerships Manager at Crowdmix, a tech startup that was developing a social network for music. I pitched to brands and agencies, managing a number of accounts and successfully forming partnerships with top brands including VO5 (Unilever) prior to launch. I have a first class degree in Philosophy from the New College of the Humanities, where I was taught by AC Grayling and attended as part of the first ever cohort. Having had art work exhibited in the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition and launched a successful Kickstarter campaign, I can prove myself to be highly creative as well as commercially minded, even outside of work.Locked Pro Plan feature
As part of my three month placement in the Planning Department at TBWA\London one of my key responsibilities has been working as a Creative Strategist for Airbnb. I have also been taught to use social listening tools for Airbnb and a number of clients at the agency. My other responsibilities have included leading a social campaign for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, running the company social accounts and being an editor of Backslash, TBWA's editorial arm. The later role has involved writing articles and producing short films on key trends that are shared with the global network. Lastly, with the support of my manager and a Global Strategy Partner, I organised a Facebook Live challenge for the global network. I wrote a brief which instructed offices to broadcast live videos into Facebook Workplace (internal to TBWA), with the goal of engaging the most viewers in realtime. On the day of the challenge office from around the world, including Paris, Brussels, New York and Buenos Aires, took part. I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal of planning skills that I now aim to apply in a permanent role.
I studied as part of the first ever cohort at the New College of the Humanities, where I had the opportunity to found the Art Society and the student magazine. Anchor Magazine grew from an A4 print out into a print and digital publication which brought in ad revenue and produced content featuring celebrities like Adam Richman and Al Murray
