•Responsible for the successful formulation, management and delivery of innovative marketing campaigns for a variety of commercial B2B face-to-face and digital conferences, summits and the IMechE flagship event Formula Student; a competition for engineering students with over 3000 students and 2000 spectators. •Driving delegate revenue, sponsorship leads and community engagement through the design and delivery of creative offline and digital campaigns. •Create and develop individual marketing plans outlining key marketing activities and deadlines, ensuring timely implementation of on and offline activity. •Manage individual event marketing budgets, track campaign results and suggest improvements for future campaigns. •E-mail marketing, social media and PPC management to drive enquiries, registrations, generate leads as well as raise the profile of IMechE events. •Collateral management – working with Graphic Designer to produce brochures, adverts and other materials as required.
•Solely responsible for creating, developing and implementing attendee and exhibitor marketing plans for exhibitions for up to 1000 delegates, conferences for 20-100 delegates, industry awards for over 1200 guests and training days for up to 100 delegates. •Working closely with the head of event marketing, publisher, production, operations, and internal support teams for each event in order to contribute to continued improvements in campaign planning, execution and analysis through effective teamwork and systems. •Management of tight timescales and budgets. •Effective use of the marketing mix, including PR, PPC, Social Media, Email-marketing, Telemarketing, SEO and DM.
•Organising 40+ SME B2B networking exhibition events, UK wide, per year from inception to day-to-day management of the team, to post-event reporting, to acting as company ambassador. •Designing of event documentation and marketing collateral (including copywriting and proof reading). •Sponsor and exhibitor management to ensure requirements are delivered. •Encouraging and monitoring delegate/exhibitor uptake. •Creating email-marketing campaigns to promote products and services and generate delegate and exhibitor uptake including monthly newsletter. •Utilising social media to engage with clients, promote events and enforce the brand. •Close monitoring of the industry to ensure market and competitor awareness. •Networking and representing company at external events/exhibitions. •Managing and building strong rapport with partners and suppliers to negotiate agreements in order to broaden market audience. •Website maintenance including enhancement and creating copy/content.
