Fair Coordinatior - Direct support to the Fair Director and Manager with all aspects of the fair, The role includes sales, administration, marketing, exhibitor liaison and management, support for finance, production and social media management and content.
• Event Production and Content – Part of core production team for events with footfall of up to 25,000. Assisted with fair layout and stand plan. Set up and ran the on-site office, interviewing and managing a team of 20 fair assistants. Responsible for organising rotas, stock checking process and event signage. Worked with a range of experts to co-ordinate event lectures and workshops. • Supplier Management and Exhibitor Liaison – Managed relationships with over 90 different exhibitors, acted as their key point of contact for all enquiries and requirements. • Sales and Finance – Led processing of supplier documentation for the event. Supported sales team to meet revenue targets and worked with exhibitors to organise payments and invoices. • Marketing, PR and Social Media – Developed content for subscriber emails, supported ticketing strategy, and attended PR meetings to help create a new press approach. Responsible for planning, gathering, and creating content for the website and social media channels. • Technical Skills – Led management of all event databases and sales records (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Drove additional sales through investigation into target market and by developing an extensive catalogue of potential vendors and contacts (Qualitative Research).
