After almost 4 wonderful years at Mothership Group I have decided to move on to pastures new. I will working on a few freelance projects, and looking for new roles. One of those projects is a radio show and series of events called Talk Dirty, which encourage open and honest communication about sex. It will be airing on NTS Radio in November. During my time at Mothership I ran the Arts and Culture Program and then moved into the role of Creative Partnerships and Marketing. It has been my job to grow the audience for Mothership Group outside of the venues. I ran events for brands, took shows to festivals and led the digital marketing team. I also ran a project to identify and refine Mothership's vision and values with Bain Consulting, making sure that everything we do is in line with these beliefs, and that we are properly communicating them to the world. In my previous role I got to programme and produce some great arts and culture events. I have worked with some wonderful people and companies over the years, from The Moth, Fourth Estate, Wilderness Festival, and Penguin Books. These events were designed to make a lot of noise in the press, and I have produced from start to finish events featured in Time Out, The Evening Standard, The Guardian, The Independent, Marie Claire, Elle etc. I have worked on small, medium and large scale events from start to finish, from a Game of Thrones quiz for 50 people, to a 750 person 90's Teen themed club night, to massive outdoor parties attended by 4000 people. For these events I was running every stage from making the decor, to booking the logistics, to making sure that the budget all added up! I consume a whole lot of media (my Mum calls me an obsessive reader), and have a very good understanding of the UK press. I have written my fair share of press releases, and worked on more than a few launches.
