• FAUX magazine contributionThis was a quick competition brief set by hubbub lifestyle organisation to create a contribution for their new satire fashion magazine 'FAUX'. I wrote an article about the contour and highlighting trend drawing inspiration from iconic figures through time. I then highlighted a model from an advertisement the areas of typical highlighting with make-up while drawing inspiration from the late David Bowie.
• Photojournalism: DoormenThis project was a one week brief based on photo journalism.We were given four categories to choose our photo subject from. At the end of the week we has to submit one which captured our category. My chosen category was mature work force. The following six photographs were my final edit which I found captured the story of my chosen subject of a mature door man. One night I followed my subject from his first job out side a bar to his last outside a take-away shop. Soon after these photograph were taken my subject retired a few days later. I wanted to show in these photographs a sense of how companionship the passing of experience on to another. These photographs also communicate some stereotypes of doormen but also dispel others. I chose to edit them in black and a cream tone so their was more focus on the subject rather than the surroundings.
