Rosie Fitter is a curator, writer, and art historian based in London, originally from Norfolk, UK. She holds a BA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, where she developed a keen interest in curatorial practice as a mechanism for socio-political critique and activism.
Rosie was selected as one of eleven Curatorial Fellows for the New Curators programme, led by Mark Godfrey and Kerryn Greenberg. The fellowship offers postgraduate-level training for aspiring curators from lower socio-economic backgrounds. In the summer of 2024, she curated a critically acclaimed exhibition by artist Firelei Báez at The South London Gallery, which received a four-star review in The Guardian.
Currently, Rosie works as a staff writer for Elephant Magazine, producing articles on contemporary art and cultural issues. She previously gained experience in exhibition coordination, events, and communications at renowned international galleries such as Almine Rech and Nicoletti Contemporary.
