Photography Assistant

Photographer role: Prepping studio for photo-shoots, setting up camera and lighting. Photographing & assisting in photo-shoots for families, children, babies, pets and objects in the studio, directing or creating various set ups and any the customer wishes to create, ensuring customer feels comfortable in surroundings. Correctly downloading photographs immediately after photo-shoot, creating IPTC field and filing on server.
Post Production role: Editing & retouching photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom ready for customers to view and for print orders or digital files. Customer restorations of damaged and old photographs. Designing layouts for albums, photo books and montages.
Customer service role: Greeting customers in the shop front quickly and efficiently, dealing with customer enquiries and taking orders, handling payments and collections and dealing with passport photographs; photographing, editing and printing of the photo ID to fit various specifications for different countries.
Admin role: Answering the phone in the correct company manner, contacting customers, booking in appointments, logging and filing paperwork correctly, dealing with emails, creating spreadsheets and entering customer data, promoting the business using social media platforms ensuring regular, current posts and running competitions, creating web galleries and editing product information using company software, ensuring print order quality and packing and posting orders.

Duties & Responsibilities: Full responsibility of managing bar and engaging with customers, taking orders, handling money, operating a computer till system, stock replenishment, serving tables.
