Known as the leading hospitality PR and marketing agency in the UK, my job at elliotts is to create demand for my client’s brands. Working at elliotts sees me supporting on a number of clients, aiding in projects focused in digital, internal communications, local marketing strategy and execution. Working at a dramatically expanding agency whilst at, and after university has allowed me to learn various skills quickly and produce high quality work that our clients love. I have tried to jump in whenever there is an opportunity to be apart of creating strategies to grow my passion and knowledge.
Working at hot house saw me managing various accounts ranging from marketing, to website creation. I was given great responsibility, managing over 30 consultants to ensure we meet deadlines and that work is completed to a high quality. Interacting with clients and taking an idea from the start, and delivering work on time gave me a great sense of achievement. This also gave me a strong base of marketing knowledge to build my skills, ideologies and perceptions of the industry.
My first industry work was creating a market research report for Kettering-based charity, Wicksteed Park. It started from a small brief given by the Managing Director and went on to conducting primary and secondary research. This entailed collecting and understanding data from focus groups and public questionnaires and also analyzing data from online resources such as Mintel, Experian (Mosiac Proling) and Key Note. This report went on to steer the direction for the charities improvements and future development. My work was published in the countywide newspaper.
