About me

Hi, I'm Rowena. I'm a 22-year-old Australian travelling the world in search of a job that can convince me to stay put. I recently graduated with First-class Honours in a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Creative Writing) degree. This degree equipped me with skills that enable me to turn my hand to anything from editing to copywriting to creative writing to marketing. My medium of choice is the written word, but I love to experiment with all sorts of artistic outlets, from photography to music. I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, horse riding, yoga, photography, visual art, craft, films, cooking and gardening. My dream is to use my creative skills to have a positive impact on the world, however and wherever I can.

Rowywrites

Mar 2017
  • Freelance
  • I maintain a personal blog documenting the notable events and travel stories of what was originally intended to be a three-month holiday. Starting the blog two months before my departure, I cultivated a readership through both Facebook and Instagram, ensuring content was relevant, surprising, and entertaining. High-quality images support my writing and allow me to update my social media accounts regularly, even when external forces prevent new blog entries from being published. http://rowywrites.com/blog
