- CamerasThis project started because i felt it was too easy to take a photograph with a commercial camera, I just need to aim and press a button and the camera does the rest of the work. I wanted to be more involved in the making of the photograph starting with the raw materials for a camera through to a functioning apparatus. I am in control of my photography more when I have made my own cameras because the success of the photograph is all dependent on me. I have touched all the components of the cam
- PopulationThis was a project based on the idea of over population and the destructive nature of it. i Photographed flies and their wings because I was using them as a metaphor for our own destruction and growth as a species. The world does not have enough resources on it to feed and provide energy to every one.
- from the stand point of a physical description of the operation of natural lawsThis project is about the immateriality of light and how we are so dependent on technology that produces light.With these images I was capturing light in a raw simple way and making the immateriality of light material without any reference to time or a physical space.
