Beginning my studies in September of 2016
Attended UWO earning a Bachelor of Education in Primary and Junior Education. Courses taken focused on contemporary practices in the education field. Practical implementation of courses taught were practiced in schools across London, Ontario in classrooms of various grade levels with children of a wide range of abilities. The degree was earned with distinction.
Attended York University earning an Honours Bachelor degree in Fine Arts Cultural Studies. Courses taken focused on a variety of different cultural and artistic practices honing in on the deconstruction of meaning within a given practice a well as within the society it is being practiced in. I made the decision to sign up for a variety of different elective courses in order to strengthen my understanding of various cultures and artistic practices. Thus, strengthening my degree. Courses ranged from art history to musical practice and theatrical arts to tradition dance practices. Achieved an Honours standing Bachelor of Arts.
