About me
Rui Qu is a set designer and image-maker living and working in Shanghai currently. Following her MA in Design for Art Direction from London College of Communication(UAL) she moved back to China for self-develop and trying to find her voice here. Since 2020, Rui works as an art director and set designer in the fields of still-life and fashion, dancing in the lines between culture, fashion and art. Her style has a strong female aesthetic with soft symbols, a touch of playfulness, coupled with a natural eye for attention to detail. With new materials and the diversity they bring, she wants to create precise creative images.
