About me
I am a 3rd year university student, as well as an advertising strategist and an account assistant - within all these roles, I must ensure that I think big, address any challenges me, as an individual and our team may face on the day-to-day. I am very determined and have a strong passion for what I want, I want to be a strategist - this is why I've been working so hard to get the experience and qualifications I need. I am very strategic with a hint of creativity, I like to mix the two together - as a matter of fact, I am working on multiple project right now. Creating briefs and campaigns for my clients: including BrewDog, Virgin Atlantic, BBC, Disney and a start-up film company called Comevada Pictures. I am now in charge of Comevada Picture's advertising department. I am working with a couple of creatives and strategist to ensure that we create the best possible campaign that will introduce Comevada Pictures to the market. I always have a lot on my plate, but I always manage to complete them on time because I have an efficient time management skill. Doing my dissertation in Algorithm, as well as working with so many different projects at a time. I will guarantee that I will not waste your time.

    Comevada Pictures is a start-up film company based in London. I am currently working with moulding their brand image, increasing their social media followers and targeting audience for their upcoming events. I am one of the two faces of Comevada Pictures – my employer and I ensure that the creative side of the company is not affected by the pressure outside the business, their focus is the film making and we handle the business side of it. I work on finding the right people to work with, regarding our upcoming campaigns in the near future. I make sure that the company approach situations calming and respectably – I think of ways to impact the society positively through our films, events and campaigns.

    Storms Communication is a PR company, working with a huge list of clients. Within my time here, I learned about how the PR industry works. I must be constantly aware of what is happening with the news and current trends on social media. They taught me how to calculate a website’s value using a Worth of Web calculator, as well using MyGorkana.com – which allows us to gather data about certain publishers, authors, journalist, etc. I was working mainly with consumers, but I also worked on a little bit of B2B. I was working on three or more projects at a time, ensuring that we gather all the data we need for our clients and their consumers.

    In April 2017, my University asked us to create a creative strategy for PayPal, this is when I realised that I want to be involved with strategic planning/account planning. I absolutely enjoyed researching, learning more about behavioural economics and how advertising can manipulate people’s minds. I learnt that the creatives will only provide the best advert if they have been provided the best brief. I love studying human behaviour and the way our society thinks/acts, by doing all this research I can come up with insights that will massively impact the whole strategy. I believe that without an insight, any creatives – even the best ones, will never be convincing enough to change people’s perspective. Since then, I have presented my work in front of Account Planners that were chosen by universities – not many has been given this opportunity. The university gave us the opportunity to create a creative strategy for our chosen brand, I chose the NHS Sexual Health Clinic. You are probably thinking why, I chose the NHS Sexual Health Clinic because most people feel very uncomfortable about the topic – I wanted to start an open conversation where people can express their opinions as well as learn and hear other people’s opinion. On the strategy, I included school visits – where students can speak to a professional about their situations, and social experiments. I wanted to create something discrete to attract more people to join, considering that the issue is quite sensitive. During my presentation, this is when I realised that I am so proud of my work. That this is what I want to do! My tone of speech changed throughout the presentation, my confidence increased, and they saw my passion.
