About me

I am a curator and writer based in Nottingham, UK. My on-going research centres on queer night-time spaces, with a focus on gentrification, memory and cross-generational exchange. As programme assistant of public programmes and research at Nottingham Contemporary, I assist the research and production of discursive events including talks, screenings and performances. Previously, I co-delivered the public programme at Recent Activity, an artist-run space in Birmingham, UK. Independent projects include A Map of Queer Brum (2019); If Memory Serves, Birmingham Hippodrome (2019); The Club’s Conception (or How the Egg Was Cracked), Recent Activity (2019); Three Models for Change, STRYX (2018); Rainbow Flag / Trojan Horse: Ian Giles, Recent Activity (2018); and Queering the Archive, Recent Activity (2017). My writing has appeared in this is tomorrow and In the Pink, a publication launched by Grand Union and SHOUT Festival in November 2018. I hold a BA from the University of the Arts London, an MA from the University of Birmingham and I am currently participating in the CAMPUS Independent Study Programme.
