Over a period of three years, I managed to take The Music Intro from a fledgling blog to a well-respected music discovery platform that particularly excelled within the niche of country, folk and Americana music. My duties as the site's owner/editor included writing daily posts that covered a range of topics, fostering and maintaining professional relationships within the industry, and constantly tweaking the website's design to increase traffic and user accessibility. During my time working on the site, The Music Intro was shortlisted for Best Irish Music Blog and Best Irish Youth Blog two years running in the Irish Blog Awards, as well as receiving nominations for the Irish Web Awards.
