My intent was to build on my previous education, as well as gain relevant work experience in the media industry across all multimedia platforms. As a former CBS News employee, my background has primarily been revolved around politics in addition to mass media. My ultimate goal is to gain employment in the creative industries by incorporating my previous journalistic experience in print and broadcast television. I see myself as adaptable and flexible in any environment. I have held previous positions as a runner and have had experience with location shoots, drafting release forms, and organizing presenters. Additionally, I've dealt with post-production and social media in relation to branding. Furthermore, I have an extensive theoretical knowledge of communications in relation various arenas including media law, organizations, new media, and cultural studies. Other areas I've experienced include marketing, videography, and photography.
