`What I look for in a project is the opportunity for adventure! Where will I go and who will I meet and what will I discover? And what fuels this is a feverish desire to communicate, to problem solve, to spread the word. Of course there are patterns that I fall into- mainly concentration on the written word and a celebration of people and places- but I don't want to talk about these too much because I don't want to rely on them. What others think is ridiculous I often think is totally normal. I guess this is a help if you want some whacky ideas and someone to believe in them. My most prominent trait in both ideas and personality is honesty; in work I observe and research this honesty and I let it shape the content. On a rainy day it can be pleasant to edit on the Adobe Suit, but I will always prefer the research action, which luckily is where my skills lie. * I'm currently tittering my way through the literary works of John Buchan, alongside A History of the Girl Guide Association, The Railway Children (so cosy) and a book about amateur astronomy. Last week I was in a performance of the play One Man Two Guvnors, a consequence of membership to South West London amateur dramatics- I won't go into this now because it can be a strange world to get your head around... My heroes include Julie Andrews and Jeremy Deller. I play WA on a netball court.
