About me
Working in Civil Service for 14 years in a diversity of National Security roles in Intelligence Diplomacy, Terrorist & Illicit Finance, Global & Emerging Threats. Strengths in fostering and managing influential relationships for HMG National Security requirements across Government, private sector, international partners, UKSF and CT Policing. Worked in diversity of roles in Central Government, leading strategy, policy and complex projects. Subject matter expert 2015-2020 - Terrorist & Illicit Finance. Professionally a fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Accounting Technician (FMAAT) & PRINCE2 Practitioner. Completed the Senior Civil Service Leadership Development Pathway in 2018. In my spare time I’m a volunteer Police Officer (Special) for Surrey Police in a response team, East Surrey. I was the executive trustee and treasurer of a medium sized military charity 2012-2019 leading governance, investment management & the financial affairs of the charity. In 2021 added to board of trustees of a national charity focussing on welfare and mental health for Police community. Mentor and coach, diversity committee member and skill peer lead. Prior to the Civil Service I worked (6 years) in a medium size accounting practice providing corporate finance, accounting and audit to private high-net worth clients. In my spare time I weight train, kick-box, travel and enjoy pale ale with friends.
