My passion for travel started at a very young age. However, being from New Zealand, a country surrounded by water and completely cut off from the rest of the world, it was very difficult to get anywhere!
I filled my time with studying toward my photographic design degree, successfully working as a freelance event and wedding photographer, and managing the social media base for a prestigious fashion studio brand with a young target audience (as well as being a self-sufficient lead photographer), in the country’s creative-hub, capital city of Wellington.
Now that I have spread myself over a base of creative industries, I have come to one of the most iconic and creative based cities in the world, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be here!
I have based myself in the bustling area of Brick Lane, Shoreditch, loving the area, but am now ready to find a place where I can extend my creative skills on a more international level, as well as aiding my incessant need to travel, and combine my passion of different cultures through a highly creative outlet.
I have experience in many aspects of photography such as online, fashion, studio, commercial, event, wedding, food, to name a few, as well as retouching imagery as well.
During my time in New Zealand I was a lead photographer and shoot coordinator for a well-known fashion studio, shooting young people eager to get into the business. This required a lot of thinking on my feet as-well-as styling and posing the models in a way that looked best for their figure and showed off the garment in the most effective way. I was also required to edit these images to a high quality in a short amount of time, cull for the best and upload them to the website, as I was also in charge of the social media sector. This was a challenging role, but I am ready and raring to move on to a role with more challenge and responsibility!
I am extremely hard-working, adaptable, love meeting new people, consider myself bubbly, with an outgoing personality, and a eagerness to learn.
I believe I would be perfect for this role as I strive for perfection, and there's nothing better than the feeling of being part of something fun and creative!
