About me
I’m a Communications Consultant with a PhD in cancer research. I spent the last decade helping doctors, scientists and data experts communicate their messages through thought pieces, news articles and videos. Having navigated a variety of workplaces in 16 industries (including the performing arts) as someone with ADHD, I recognise the effects ADHD can have on career, which directly affects the way a woman communicate her value in the world of work. I created the Communicating Your Value programme where I help purpose-driven neurodivergent women overcome her inner critic and identify her uniqueness advantage so she can create an ADHD-friendly career environment where her genius can thrive. Utilising my expertise in marketing, communication and presenting, I founded ADHD Girls, a community of like-minded women through interviews with other women with ADHD and ADHD specialists. My aim is to reach more women with my knowledge and expertise and help many more women reconnect with what they truly want in their career and focus their talents, skills and interests to live a life of fulfilment and growth. ADHD Girls Media and Communication is a platform for our "Conversation with women with ADHD" global awareness campaign, which has been said to be a refreshing perspective of the uplifting, strength-based model of ADHD. We regularly interview renowned ADHD specialists (psychiatrists, mental health therapist, psychologists and coach specialising in ADHD) on their take of the condition in women. If you're a woman with an important ADHD story to tell, we would love to feature you. If you're an ADHD specialist who wants to share your insights to challenge the status quo and improve identification and treatment of ADHD in women, please get in touch.
