Resident Artist
- Assisting the Head of Visual Arts in developing students machine and hand-sewing techniques and pattern cutting skills.
- Teaching fashion design methods and developments, from initial ideas and inspiration to the making of a toile and then the final garment.
- Responsible for maintaining industry standards within the workroom.
- Working with the Head of Visual arts and VA faculty to raise standards.
- Forward planning for projects, events and schemes of work.
- Responsible for creating visual displays and presentations within the academy for the Visual Arts department.
- Ordering and sourcing all equipment, materials and learning resources needed for Fashion and Textiles.
