I have experience which I feel is highly relevant to this position, not least my ability to lead all aspects of a client’s requirements across a wide range of stages in production, manage and promote relationships with clients and work colleagues and, technical knowledge and implementation to the highest standards. Having owned and run my own small media company for 13 years I feel I now need, on a professional level, new challenges and goals that keep me motivated. I am at a stage in my life where I want to secure a stable job where I can dedicate all my energy and passion without getting distracted with the stresses and responsibilities required when managing my own company. In regards to my professional experience I can tell you that I started my company from the back of my bedroom 13 years ago and built it to eventually become a recognised brand within the film and TV Hire business. I achieved this through sheer will and dedication and in the process I learned a lot of the skills required to manage the operation of a company. As a small business owner of a growing company I had to personally oversee many aspects of the operation. Admin responsibilities, developing of sales, marketing and digital marketing strategies, negotiation with clients and suppliers, business operation decisions, damage control, customer service, generation of new leads and business opportunities, managing and inspiring the team around me, etc have been some of the daily tasks I have done for over a decade. I pride myself to never shy away from a challenge, whether that is discussing the project management of a film or renegotiate payment terms with a supplier. Most importantly, I am a very quick learner. I realised long time ago that time is a luxury not to be wasted, If I don’t know something I will say it, but you’ll only need to show me once for me to pick it up. In addition to the above, I have worked over the years as creative director and director for commercials and fashion films for which I have won some international awards. For this creative side of my career I had to apply what I learned on set and location over the years, lighting and camera equipment, editing, storytelling and more.
