Assisting the Studio Coordinator in the smooth running of the Atelier. This includes constant communication with pattern cutters, seamstresses and students to help monitor the daily schedule; setting up dockets for and assisting seamstresses; organising trims; cutting zips for styles and collecting samples; helping to organise samples across mens and womenswear; preparations for weekly fittings; managing stock of trims and supplies for studio and recording usage; organising and recording tests on seasonal fabrics; sourcing fabric and trims from retail and the general upkeep of machinery and equipment.
The Proud Archivist is a Gallery, Bar and Restaurant. As Host, I stand front of house to greet customers and show them around. Part of my role is to know everything that is going on at the venue, from our menu to the current and upcoming exhibitions and shows.
Taking the beginners dress making class, one to two times per week.
