Sandra Leigh Nagel, (b, 1999) was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. After recently relocating to London to pursue an MA in Fashion Photography at the London College of Fashion, Sandra immerses herself in her craft, she is also learning the art of hand-printing in the darkroom, adding a tactile and intimate dimension to her work.
She shoots predominantly on medium format film, enabling her to capture the intimate nature of youth culture, celebrate it and ultimately call for social change. Sandra's work explores themes of connection, time, memory, beauty, and joy - effortlessly blending them into her visual storytelling.

Through her portraiture, Sandra offers a glimpse into her optimistic and pure perspective on the world. Each image reflects her unique vision, capturing the essence of her subjects with honesty, authenticity and grace.
