About me
I am a Graduate in Bachelor of Mass Media (Major in Advertising), from a highly reputable and one of the top colleges in India, St. Xavier’s College (Mumbai). I scored the highest GPA in my batch, 3.68 / 4, and have passed all my Semester exams with Distinction. I am currently on a 1-Year Exchange Program at IESEG School of Management, Lille (France). I am pursuing Master Marketing and Business Electives. During my course, (both Bachelor and Exchange), I garnered a vast knowledge in the following areas: • Social Media Marketing and Digital Strategy • Web Designing, Wix Website Design • Customer Relationship Management • Integrated Marketing Communication • Public Relations • Advertising Design (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) • Market Research • Consumer Behavior and Research • Marketing Strategy Simulation • Brand Building • Event Management • Social Media Analytics (Hootsuite, Klout, Facebook, Twitter etc.) While in Mumbai, I interned in a Digital ‘Start-up’ Agency, Revent, where, I could apply my knowledge practically, and extensively gained experience in Marketing and Consumer Research, Social Media Content Creation and Event Management. I was highly involved with creating Social Media Content and planning Social Media Strategy for various clients. Using my knowledge base and my creative instinct, I designed several campaigns focusing on Digital Advertising Design, IMC, Brand Building, and PR. One of them being, having an On-ground activation and a Social Media campaign for Disney India, aiming to attract and catch the attention of ‘College Students’. This project was well received by the professors and even the Head copywriter of the Ad agency, Ogilvy (Mumbai). Over my Bachelor and Exchange, I have gained and developed a lot of experience in creating and analyzing Strategy Presentations and pitching them. While pursuing my Exchange Program, I have gained deep knowledge and executed many assignments on Experiential Branding, Social Media, and Digital Branding, Global Brand Management, etc. Through my experience in Internship and College Assignments, I have grown as a ‘Creative Copywriter’ and a Social Media / Community Manager. I currently work as a Scout for Sparks and Honey, New York, where I research culturally trending content and provide insights, at the same time, interpreting emerging trends. Being a young Bachelor Graduate in Advertising, and currently pursuing Master Marketing studies at IESEG School of Management, upon finishing my studies, I want to kickstart my career with an agency, a Brand that not only resembles my personality and like-mindedness, but also one that can give me the necessary professional and educational experience and knowledge in the vast field of Marketing and Advertising. I want to be able to share my talent and creativity with you, where I can not only improve myself but also help you reach further heights of success. Coming from a family who loves to watch movies, I inherited those genes and got positively addicted to watching movies and TV Series, which further activated the 'Acting Bug' in me. The love for Entertainment (Thinking, Watching and even Writing) is what captivates me, and to a major extent has made me follow this path in my career. I want to learn on a ‘Professional’ level to grow myself from a mere Marketing student to a Practically Knowledgeable Professional Student. I believe opportunities are not given, they are earned. Having worked hard all my life till now, from studying hard to score the highest GPA in my batch to getting selected for an Exchange Program to France, I know this is another one of those openings, I cannot miss. My experiences throughout my life have transformed me into an individual with a ‘Can do’ attitude, positive, proactive, innovative and creative, or as I like to call myself; “A Creative, Inquisitive Student”.

    I have interned for 6 months (April 2016 – September 2016) with Revent, a Digital Media agency. Revent being a startup, I was fortunate to be a huge part of their day to day work. The key competencies and skills that I acquired were from various departments, especially the Social Media. I oversaw their content development (copywriting) for the client’s social media pages. As part of my digital marketing understanding, I learned to create social media page layouts and strategies to execute campaigns. As a Research Analyst, I was part of the managing team of a high profile event and actively participated in the research work for an International Contemporary Art Festival. I further participated in learning and preparing marketing and advertising communication strategies, at the same time, educating myself on website development and Search Engine Features. Interning at this agency gave me an insight into the actual media world and defined the course for my further studies and career.
