I am on a 6 months FTC at BIRD Travel PR. In this role I have drafted and distributed content including press releases and media pitches, tracked media coverage and PR metrics, prepared monthly reports and presentations, supported relations with stakeholders, media and vendors, engaged in influencer marketing and management, organised press trips, conducted research to support PR planning and taken a central role in social media management. I have managed the company's own social media channels and following on from this, I have developed and managed launch of a new hotel brand. This has resulted in an engaged community of followers and increased inbound traffic for clients’ websites.
