Corporate life, was the only life I knew, I'd worked in many industries for 20 years.
When my role was made redundant, I was relieved.
I had the highest engagement scores in my division, I put my people first, I helped them achieve their dreams, bypassing and negotiating bureaucracy and office politics. I leveraged my connections to get my people what they needed, so my teams felt strong and got promoted, gained extra skills and are on the journey they wanted to be on.
So I decided to be a Coach, focussing on increasing women's confidence, helping them with their so called- 'imposter syndrome', setting and achieving goals, breaking things down into small, long lasting changes. Helping women feel accountable, supported and able to do whatever they want.
Looking after 'Future You' was the catalyst that create Show/Girl- watching women go on maternity leave and come back with little support, as well as wondering - What happened to Cheerleaders when they got older? - Lives are fast moving and changeable, are we prepared to help ourselves?
Show/Girl is not a typical coaching business for executives. We are made for women who have things they want to achieve but feel like they are being held back by their confidence. But Show/Girl is not exclusively for women, we are for anyone who feels like they are putting on a performance. Coaching is still in its infancy in the UK and using a free discovery session to see how and who can support you best is the best intro to coaching.
How?
One to One coaching is ideal for some, really getting to the root of issues in a safe confidential space. We also run group sessions in and out of businesses. So coaching can fit with all budgets.
SHOW/GIRL is for people who have dreams but don't quite know how to get there by themselves.
