About me
I'm Sarah; 22 years old and pursuing my film and media passion of 11 years.
I've always been fascinated with moving image, technology and digital media and so when the time came to make my own academic choices - it was a simple decision to make. I graduated University with a 2:1 BA Hons, just two marks off of a First Class.
Camerawork and editing are my strongest skills, however I find creating and exploring ideas, and having intense creative discussions just as captivating. From documentaries to music videos, promotional videos to dramas; I throw myself into every project full force and enjoy every step of the way.
Projects
- Fox and Apple PromoFox and Apple Interiors contacted me through an understanding I'm mad about technology and digital media. Initially Anna - the one woman wonder behind Fox and Apple Interiors - requested the designing, building and running of an official website. However, not being one to let opportunities escape I proposed the creation of a promotional video to boot. Not only am I currently creating the official website; I'm in the final processes of completing the promotional video, we have a mini-documentary called Create and Collaborate in production (featuring a fellow creative - Peter Sedo, sculpter and all-around art enthusiast) amongst some product photography and light social media managing.

Collaboration with the company has enforced the importance of a strong rapport with clients, a confidence growth in suggesting ideas, meticulous planning and enhanced independent working.

Responsibilities were to co-create and edit the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) sessions produced by the University for FutureLearn; culminating in appreciation of the clients’ essential requirements, using my initiative, and attaining valuable experience from working in a new sector.
The key requirements for the role were a thorough understanding of Premiere Pro and Photoshop, alongside self-motivation and the capability to work productively as part of a team. Due to the nature of the material strict weekly deadlines were essential.
