About me

So this is me, a Senior Art Director, whose humour often leans towards random, and who struggles to draw small shoes and thin fingers on scamps, but whose conceptual ideas and design thoughts are pretty cool and whose understanding of brand – telling the story, pitching it right – is not too bad either. I have worked on some nice big clients like Heineken, Nesquik, Canon, Vodafone, Braun, HSBC, Hershey’s, Costa, Emirates, GSK, Nescafé and Coke and have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of fun and interesting stuff across all the platforms you would expect an integrated SAD to know (advertising, digital, experiential, shopper, direct, promotion, activation and TV) some of which can be seen in full technicolour here: I also play nicely in a team, but am just as comfortable concepting on my own, plus I can head up an extended campaign team when the need arises, not to mention throw a few lines together if the copywriter is short of words. I have worked at a number of agencies since starting in the industry over 15 years ago and for the past year have been doing my creative thing for ARC, the Publicis agency. Before that I spent time in the WPP network working for Geometry Global, and G2 Joshua, and then Grasshopper. In addition I have also spent several years freelancing at a mix of agencies on a diverse, and eclectic, range of projects and campaigns. At the moment I am doing the freelance thing whilst I look for another permanent senior creative adventure, and can fly solo or bring along a copywriter if two pairs of hands are better than one...
