Managed voice and sms usage across the customer base. Also responsibility for revenue generating initiatives, roaming and international calling and compliance with OFCOM’s regulatory changes. Collaborated on a revenue generating drive across the mobile business, which contributed £5m to financial targets for the year. Successfully implemented EU roaming regulation changes ensuring Virgin Mobile was fully compliant and managed customer notification. Designed and launched a summer roaming campaign promoting mobile usage abroad. This increased usage by 50% for key customer target groups.
Provided pricing input and analysis for marketing propositions targeting small to medium businesses. Provided pricing support for EU/OFCOM roaming regulations ensuring BT achieved compliance. Participation resulted in being selected for a BTB recognition award. Developed a device and accessories process that delivered a superior customer experience. Also implemented a device pricing strategy (as opposed to simply applying basic cost plus) that ensured higher product margins.
Worked within a cross-functional team on prepay propositions from conception to launch and provided analysis on proposition pricing in terms of ARPU impact and price elasticity. Completed 3 months successfully sharing best practice on conjoint research in T-Mobile NLR. This resulted in the team designing and implementing a new pre-pay price plan that gained an increase in market share. Introduced modifications to the staff price plan which contributed towards achieving a 2006 corporate target of being the “best place to work”. Participated in a major pricing review exploring methods to generate incremental revenue. The highly sensitive project was given the full backing of the T-Mobile Management Committee and methods were applied in propositions going forward, most notably the adoption of value based pricing. Collaborated on the production of the T-Mobile pricing strategy and successfully presented a pre-pay focused strategy document to the consumer marketing team in order to influence the proposition development process. Provided pricing proposition support for the prepay tariff portfolio including PAYG Everyone, Mates Rates and Text Appeal, which produced market leading pricing and increased customer volumes for target segments.
