Digital Innovation & Marketing InternTime Inc UK
Looking for the opportunity to develop my marketing career further, I joined Time Inc UK in their Innovation Lab. Here I have the opportunity to work on new products for the business for both existing brands, such as NME and new brands such as Live Smart and List for Life. With NME my first project was NME Video – this was a two week test, looking at how the NME audience interact with video content. Working with the journalist I produced daily emails using Eloqua, and shared and boosted content on Facebook. At the end of the test I gathered our results, so they could be presented to the business. For Live Smart my role has been ensuring it runs day to day, this includes daily emails, boosting Facebook content and engaging with users on Twitter. I also use Newswhip to find stories we can get involved with. List for Life my role has been more of a support, covering on Social when they’ve needed it, and also using my photography skills. Overall, Time Inc has given me the opportunity to develop the skills I learnt in my previous role, and adapting them to a larger company.
    Project Coordinator
     -
My role as Project Coordinator has given me the opportunity to work with national and international clients such as Boots, Dorchester Collection, Le Manoir, Codess Engineering Forum for Women (Part of Microsoft), EAT., Arcadia, QVC, The Original Bowling Company, PlayStation and ITV. For each of our clients we run campaigns across multiple social media platforms, and with the nature of social I have learnt the importance of being flexible. I have also had the opportunity to use my Photography skills in my role for both Boots and there upcoming Boots.jobs website and for QVC and the new social media campaign we are running for their recruitment. I also use my Photoshop and InDesign skills to create primarily our Facebook updates for Dorchester Collection – but I have also done the same for our other clients. At andSoMe I have had a real ‘hands on’ opportunities – this has allowed me to continuously learn and develop my skills in Marketing, Social Media and Project Management and also communicating with clients on a daily basis, this means I’ve had fantastic exposure to the Digital Media industry. I have also worked on award nominated and winning campaigns such as Boots #ReadyforXmas, #ShineBright, #Good4Grads #BootsStyle and the Employer Brand for The Original Bowling Company #Place2B. As we deal with multiple accounts on a daily basis – this has developed my ability to adapt and be agile to daily changes and needs of our clients businesses. This also means I have worked across accounts aimed at very different target markets, and built an understanding of these different audiences and how to communicate with them.
