In my current role at We Built This City I am Supervisor of the sales team in store, alongside assisting the Art Buyer - which involves researching new artists to collaborate with and new prints to stock, making recommendations for future collaborations. I’m very familiar with sales targets, working at artist events and at weekends. I was recently involved in undertaking various admin tasks at HQ for the launch of WBTC's new online venture. I also undertake various freelance design projects for We Built This City, as well as for a few other clients. Starting out as a pop up store I have been involved in the popping up and down of stores - helping to package, move and store all stock and assisting with the installation of shop space.
Initially a three-month internship, I was asked to stay on for a further few months. • Managing the company switchboard, covering the reception. • Greeting clients and visitors to the office. • Supporting and assisting the digital team with content ideas and image creation for social media channels. • Producing creative copy and monthly content calendars. • Participating in company brainstorms for various brands/clients. • Preparing client-meeting rooms. • Support with the general upkeep and appearance of the office. • Data inputting into Excel spread sheets and PowerPoint presentations. • Managing staff schedules and calendars. • Sourcing and ordering props for photo shoots. • Managing office post and courier bookings. • Undertaking research in initial stage of projects on behalf of senior members. • Assisting PR Team with blogger outreach. • Compiling influencer lists. • Liaising with illustrator agents - Hosting a meeting between Agent and Creative Team. • Managing the social media accounts of various clients.
