I have been in the Graphic Design industry now for just over 8 years. I first worked on such magazines like Heat , More!, Star magazine. I had gained enough experience to get my full-time role as a junior designer for Moshi Monsters Magazine. For them I created front covers, poly bags, covermounts and special promotional products for events. After this I wanted more of a challenge and went to Immediate Media where I worked on several titles such as Lego, Top of The Pops, and Girl Talk. I was able to train myself on Premiere Pro and later edited and produced videos for the Girl Talks YouTube channel.
I’m currently working at Hachette as a Senior Designer working across series fiction and licensing. I manage freelancers, produce all the books I work on aswell design front covers and interiors. I have worked with clients such as Disney, Warner Bros and Universal.
I am always looking for the next challenge! Over the years I have learnt how to commission illustrators, work on schedules for various projects, manage other members of staff and be the best at time keeping.
