About me
My work encapsulates a great love of all things embroidery, I have explored this through both my Hand embroidery and embellishment and digital CAD embroidery. I am greatly inspired by colour and how it brings different types of textile processes alive. I aim to create beautiful bespoke pieces aimed at the couture market in the form of fashion fabrics and accessories. In addition to this I love exploring developments in technology and pushing the bounds of what they can be used for, so my work includes, digital print, laser cutting and sonic welding technology. By combining these digital processes and traditional techniques I aim to bridge boundaries between the two allowing them to showcase one another in the most beautiful ways possible.

- Birds of ParadiseThe 'birds of paradise; collection was inspired by beautiful tropical birds, it takes reference of the patterns found within the birds feathers and takes subtle influences from 1920's fashion. With its bold us of colour it encapsulates the inspiration of feathers and birds in a fun yet sophistocated collection of couture fashion fabrics. Bringing together CAD and hand embroidery, digital print technology and laser cutting.

I interned at a bespoke bridal studio, I was involved in the creation of bespoke bridal hair accessories including the making of handmade silk flowers, I also adorned bridal dresses with beading and crystals.

I interned at an embroidery company specialising in Monogramming, I was involved with bridal trend embroidery/bead research, test stitching newly developed cross stitch kits, keeping social media account updated with new and exciting embroidery inspiration.
