As a Digital Coordinator at Laura Ashley, I have excellent experience in a fast paced digital environment and over three years experience in the management of a website. Having graduated from Central Saint Martins with a degree in Criticism, Communication and Curation, I have had a broad arts education, which included cultural theory and critical writing for art and literature. During my placement at the BBC, I worked in the publishing department assisting with researching and producing engaging content for print and online. This placement enabled me to develop a valuable set of skills and specific industry experience. I am now looking to broaden and refine these skills in a digital publishing role.

  • • Responsible for launching and coordinating online content for the Laura Ashley website. • Manage content for the homepage, category pages and banners and navigation. • Launch products and use CMS to maintain accurate, up to date information. • Ensure tagging is in place to correctly track product and content performance. • Liaise with buying, press, franchise and archive departments to ensure product information is correct. • Manage product database and critical path using Microsoft Office and Excel. • Use Adobe Photoshop/In Design to edit product images and banners. • Use HTML to update design/ content. • Responsible for briefing and signing off daily promotional emails. • Develop new features/enhancements and raise bugs and issues with developers. • Work closely with the digital design teams to brief and develop ideas for website features and marketing campaigns. • Write and edit copy for online features and products to ensure these are accurate and SEO optimized. • Manage cross merchandising of products (you may also like, also in this range). • Merchandise products using Attraqt software (creating rules, A/B testing). • Use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic across all devices, product performance, web tracking, tag managing and conversion rates. • Provide technical website support for customer services.
