About me
I am a London based graphic designer with over eight years’ experience working in a variety of sectors including cultural, commercial, retail and charitable.
As a designer I try to find the best solution to a challenge, even if this means I have to learn a new skill to satisfy the brief. I strive to give a client what they need, not necessarily what they initially want, working with them to produce work which satisfies both the client and my team.
I have worked in many areas of design including branding, editorial, campaigns, web and exhibition design.
I currently work in the creative team at the British Red Cross.
Projects
- DAY OF THE DISAPPEARED‘A hole in your life’ campaign produced to advertise the British Red Cross international family tracing service. Bus posters were targeted at helping the Somalian and Congolese communities in London, Birmingham and Manchester. The posters were strategically positioned near international money transfer services so they would get high footfall. I also produced material for the 'Day of the Disappeared' that ran alongside this campaign. This annual event recognises the number of people still missi
- ANNUAL REPORTI produced the British Red Cross report and accounts for 2013. Working closely with the finance and writing team we created a report with easily digestible snippets of stats and facts. This report was the winner of the PWC Building Public Trust Awards 2014 for ‘Excellence in Reporting in Charities'.
- GLASGOW FIRST AIDI worked on this Glasgow-specific first aid awareness campaign to encourage people to learn essential first aid skills. I created a localised campaign using local dialect and a famous landmark. This campaign will be adapted for other cities in the future. For this campaign I produced digital 6 sheets, 48 sheet posters, train carriage cards, social media ads, mobile ads and bus sides.
- EVENT MATERIALI produced a new set of fundraising event materials for the British Red Cross. This style has been rolled out for all event materials, printed and digital, and for the fundraising packs given out to those who sign up to an event. My aim was to simplify the message, ensuring a consistent style/voice and create strong imagery to inspire people to get involved and raise some money.
