A self-taught Graphic Design enthusiast and a storyteller with restless feet, I have always had an artistic soul with a desire to explore the world, and a keen interest in photography.
I am always finding new ways to channel my creativity through projects and work experiences. During my gap year, I started an e-commerce handmade jewellery company, Trinkets. Later in university, I furthered my creative skills by designing websites and producing a photo-book. During my second year, I moved to Denmark for a semester exchange to make short films on interesting themes.
Currently, I am in my final year at university preparing my dissertation and freelancing as a Graphic Designer. My most recent project was to conceptualise the Branding and Identity of a restaurant in India.
Ultimately, I aspire to use my experiences, skills and passions to work in the social and media sector while fulfilling my never-ending dream to explore the world.
Projects
- Surface (textile) Design | MaalGaadiThis collection is part of a live project during a six-month internship with a design agency. Agency's Client: Maal Gaadi, a quirky retail store based in Chennai, India. The sell an eclectic mix of chic & urban fashion, home and lifestyle products. Brief: Conceptualise and create a collection of linen products - cushion & pillow covers, duvet covers & bed sheets - in line with the brand's identity (quirky, urban & chic). Approach: A travel themed collection that is unique, inspires wanderlust and is reflective of the client's brand identity
- Menu DesignGrapevine is a new Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar in Bangalore, India. Grapevine is an interesting mix of sophisticated and homely while evoking a feeling of wanderlust and nostalgia. The rustic finish, beautiful lighting and quirky seating create an atmosphere that is fun but so cosy; and the food, inspired by the lands of sun, sea and the olive tree, is wholesome and absolutely delicious. Below is one element of the Branding and Idenitity project - create three sets of menus for the food, beverages and wine
- KUNST - WEB DESIGN'KUNST' translates to 'Art' in German; being art and photography lovers we wanted to capture our city's vibrant street art. Through photography, we preserve street art for other urban art lovers and artists to enjoy and feel inspired. KUNST is a space where London's best street art is digitally preserved, and brought to life using augmented reality through our interactive archive.
